The Vesuvius system is a market leader in solar water heating systems. Its two meter long, seventy millimeter diameter tube presents a larger surface area for heat collection than most available systems. The solar collector is manufactured from high quality copper with a 97% efficient collector, ensuring that even in overcast conditions the system will function to your satisfaction. The sturdy glass tubes of the Vesuvius are made from 2.1mm thick glass which is resistant to hailstones up to 35mm in size. The Vesuvius system is maintenance free and in the unlikely event of a tube or two breaking, the system will continue to function safely and effectively until the tubes are replaced. The solar tubes of the Vesuvius system are complete vacuum tubes which are the most efficient type of tubes on the market as compared with the evacuated tubes and flat plate systems. Each Vesuvius tube has a vacuum indicator in order to assess in an instant whether the vacuum is still complete. The high efficiency of the Vesuvius system means that you will use less solar tubes than other available systems in order to heat the same amount of water, and is well suited to households as well as large industrial applications for heating large volumes of water.
